#622 of 1001, Flowers in Black, White and Grey

March 22, 2019March 31, 2019 | Whitt’s End Art

I had this previously used canvas sitting around. I didn’t know what to do with it so I started used some acrylic paint and painted it black and grey. I then created the flowers using dabs of paint and a ballon. Finally I painted in the vase. I plan on experimenting with this process again.

#614 of 1001, Flowers Two Ways

March 8, 2019 | Whitt’s End Art

The 6×9 drawing on the left is done in pen and color pencil. The painting on the right is my version of a Matisse painting done in soft pastel.

#613 of 1001, The Lighthouse

March 6, 2019 | Whitt’s End Art

The Lighthouse is a 8 1/2 by 11 color pencil painting rendered on an old book page. I love old book page because they create their own unique background.

My Art

My art is simple. Sometimes a few lines on a page. Other times a completed painting. I create my art to be an extension of what I’m feeling at the time. I hope you enjoy each and every post.
