I thought I’d try my hand at another illustration. This one is of a little girl watering her red flower. I used soft pastels on a cream colored paper.

The First Gnome like some of enjoys kicking back and reading before bedtime. Today’s illustration is done on white paper using a black pen and soft pastels.

There are times when I break out the soft pastels, draw something and then let my imagination take over. Dancing is an 8×10 soft pastel on white paper.

Both of these abstract flower paintings were created using soft pastels. One was on a piece of card stock the other white sketch paper.

Illustration and cartooning has always been a passion of mine. Here is the third in a series of illustrations I am doing with my little clan I call the Furst Gnomes.

I love to draw cats. The reason, like humans, every cat has a unique personality and I love trying to capture some small detail of that personality in my drawing. Like all the others this one is done on an 8×10 old book page using soft pastels.

I like to play with colors. Here are two abstract pictures of cats done with soft pastels one on watercolor paper the other on plain whit paper.

I haven’t done one of these in a while. I like the ease of creating these abstract flowers. This one is done in acrylic paints on a 4×6 piece of card stock.
