This is a practice drawing I created on a 9×12 white drawing pad using soft pastels and color pencils. The only thing I can say is practice will hopefully one day make not perfect but better. Enjoy your day and God bless.

I created this painting using a piece of 9×12 grey paper; 3 colors of grey and a black soft pastel. The flower is color pencil. In life there is always going to be times when there will be some rain. These are the times we can either draw closer to God or push Him away. The comfort comes in the fact no matter what when we come to God as He states in Hebrews, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” In the rainy times we need to look through the torrential downpour and see God right there before us.

There are times in life I feel like I am living in a fish bowl. There are cameras everywhere watching our our movements when we venture out of our homes. Some people even have cameras in their homes because they want to feel more secure. I know the cameras are there to protect to protect the innocent and as long as you don’t break the law you have nothing to worry about. Still in the back of your mind you know someone is always watching. What is comforting however is know that God is always watching over us in good and bad times. Well it is comforting to those who know and love Him. So if you don’t there is no time like the present to get to know Him

This is the newest entry in a series of paintings I’m doing with depictions of seated models. This one like the rest is on a 6 1/2 by 8 old book page. It is illustrated using soft pastels and color pencils. I hope you like the drawing. I have no message for today other than to say to get better at anything you must put your faith in God and trust Him to guide you.

Life is all about friendships. We were created to be social beings. The drawing is a 9×12 done in pastel and color pencil on white paper. The drawing depicts two friends one pouring her heart out while the other one listens. This is why we need friends. So we have someone to come alongside us in good times and bad.

While the girl in my drawing is technically not a fairy she is none the less because she is a friend. The drawing is a 9×12 done on white paper using soft pastel, color pencils, and black pen. Home they say is where you hang your hat. I think home is where you feel loved. A house is just a house unless it is filled with warmth and love. In the same light home does not have to be the place where we hang our hat or sleep. Home can at a friends or church. Growing up I felt like I was home when I visited certain friends or relatives. Someday I will be in an ultimate home with Jesus and others who have gone before me. Oh what a glorious day that will be.
EThis is another redo drawing from last year. I used soft pastels to add more color to the drawing. I enjoyed doing this one. A sad little doll who travels the world but never gets to enjoy the benefits. It reminds me of a Christian who lives their life never knowing the joy of serving God because all they do is sit in their pew or look out a window but never step out in service. Don’t be that Christian. Get up and get out.
