Yes I know it is not Easter yet but I felt like I needed to draw this picture. This little girl loves her chocolate. In fact she is wearing some on her face. This is a pen drawing highlighted in color pencil. The little girl like many of us is over indulging in the good stuff. The problem is if you eat too much chocolate it will give you a stomach ache. Life in general is like the chocolate that is why God warns us not be gluttons or over indulge ourselves because in the end we will find ourselves sick.

#391 Dancin’ In The Rain
As a child i loved to go out and play in the rain. There is just something about being cleansed and refreshed by the water as it cascades over you. Dancin’ in the rain is a reminder to me what it was like when I gave my life to Jesus as His forgiveness washed over me reminding me how much it feels to be truly loved.

#389 Out On A Limb
I have been laid up the last week with the flu, super cold, whatever it was and a hard time getting up the energy to draw. So for today my entry is nothing more than a scribble drawing of a cardinal. I filled it in a little with color pencil. I hope you like it. I know it turned out better than I thought it would.

#386 Lost Coin Found
In the Bible there is a parable about a woman who loses a coin. The woman then spends time seeking the coin and when she finds it she rejoices. The parable shows God’s love for us. The lost coin I believe represents a sinner who then comes to a saving faith in Jesus. I also think it opens up to us a look into our lives and what we see as important. Many times we seek after earthly treasures and when we get them we rejoice but we spend very little time seeking after the One true God. What we need to do is switch our priorities.
#385 Adopt A Friend
The animal shelters are full of animals waiting to be adopted. Many of these animals are pets no longer wanted or animals from homes where they were not cared for properly. Having a pet is both a commitment and a relationship. As we all know a relationship takes work. So before you commit to a pet think about what you’re getting into before you bring the animal home. That cute little puppy or kitten will one day be a full grown dog or cat requiring a lot of your time.
