The one was created on 6×9 card stock using acrylic paints and a q-tip and a pencil eraser.

#515 Hidden Orange Flowers
A 10×12 inch acrylic abstract painting I created on white paper using some grapes and acrylic paints. The painting was an experiment using grapes coated in acrylic paints then rolled around over the paper.
#487 Pink Flower on Wood
I don’t usually paint on wood but thought I would, no pun intended, give it a try. The painting of a pink flower is on a 18×6 piece of wood and was done in acrylics. I may try some more on wood in the future.
#481 Looking at the Moon- Redo
Many months ago I created the art piece above, but back then it was only a line drawing with a little color. I decided to turn it into an acrylic painting. Whit I mostly like the end result I intend to go back and redo certain aspects of the painting. In life we are always going to have redos. Don’t fear them. Just learn from them and move on.
#480 Two White Flowers
A 9×12 canvas panel acrylic abstract painting. I tried to stick to a simple palette of colors. I like the end result. I think this is one of my favorite paintings. My advice for today is this always use the K.I.S.S (Keep it Super Simple) principle. The more complicated we make things the harder it will be to get through this life.

I decided to let my inner artist take over for this painting. Parts of the painting are more simplistic than I usually create but I like the end result. The painting is an 8×10 acrylic painting created on a canvas panel. I think in our Christian walk we sometimes overthink things. I feel that is why Jesus said to have faith like a little child, because children don’t overthink things they just have faith it will happen.
#474 Big Yellow Flower Redo
Once in a while I decide to redo one of my older drawing bags. This tine it is my big yellow flower. I painted over the pen and ink drawing using a light wash of acrylic paints. I love the way the drawing now pops from the old book page. It will good look good in a frame.
#473 On The Dark Blue Sea
The wind is gone. The sails are down, The boat is idly sitting on the dark blue sea. The painting is a 9×12 acrylic painting rendered on watercolor paper. I could use this painting for a lot of metaphors but I won’t. The only thing I’m going to say is as I sit here on this rainy day is that God is our source of life and He alone is the wind that pushes our boat long. Lift up your life and feel the wind.
#471 Faith, Hope and Love
Today’s offering is an 11×14 acrylic paints rendered on a flat panel canvas. In life I think we have three things which are highly important.
1. Faith to carry us through the bad times and to share n matter what happens.
2. Hope which the Bible says is “set before us,” Hebrews 6:18
3. Love which was given to us to share.
Take hold of these three things and life will not necessarily be smoother but the bumps become so much smaller in scope.
