A little offering,”Little Blue Bird,” done in ink and acrylic on an old book page. I like the pop of color in this piece but if I did it all over again I would make the bird a little more transparent so the words on the page bleed through.

Drawing done with a 3h and HB pencil. I am still trying to perfect my skills with drawing portraits. There are aspects of the picture I like, the purposely big eyes but there are also aspects which I would render differently, like the angle of the nose.

Most of the time my art is a mixture of whim & whit. In other odds I go where my the art leads. This piece is one of my whims. It is watered down ink on white drawing paper.
