The Furst Gnome has given out all the gifts except for this last one. Who is it for? He must read the tag. The drawing is done in pencil and soft pastel.

The fairy stands on some rocks watching as the water as it speeds by her. Wondering where it begins and where it ends up. The small painting is a 9×12 acrylic rendering on a cream colored canvas paper.

While we don’t all get snow for Christmas if you do, why not build a Christmas snowman. Today’s illustration is soft pastel brushed over lightly with water.

Every where you go this time of year the bells seem to be ringing. From the Salvation Army to the bells on some people’s hats. The latest drawing is done using a pen drawing highlighted in watercolor pencil.

I enjoy creating pictures of cats. There is something about the little felines that piques my interest. Each cat has there own personality and way about them. The cats pictured were created with pastels one soft pastels the other oils.

Today I offer you the woman in red. The painting is done on 9×11 red card stock using some soft pastels and color pencils. The picture I used was a royalty free picture from Unsplash. I really like the way the picture turned out. There are only a couple things I would change.
Where I live the cold weather is rapidly overtaking us. This means it is time to break out the fur coats. I am not ready myself but hey it comes with the season. Today’s offering is a pen and ink offering filled in with one of my new favorite mediums Prismacolor Colored pencils. If you’re into colored pencils try a set.
I have an obvious metaphor to go with today’s drawing. In life we are going to up against many walls. There are times when we must take our time to walk until we reach the end of the wall. I have lived through a couple of those, like cancer and debt reduction. There are other times when we must climb up over the wall and see what exists on the other side, like maybe a new life. One of these is the moment you decide to follow Jesus. It only takes a moment to bend the knee and climb over the wall. Think about it.
