I hate to admit it but the original painting (top left corner) was a quick study in soft pastel. The other three are done we’re done with the MadArt app. My favorite is the bottom right corner.

I drew the 6 x 9inch ink drawing with my left hand and intended just to keep it at that. Then I decided to add some color. I like the end result better.

The woman is both happy and sad. The New Year has started the old one and its memories left behind. The sadness comes from memories but happiness comes with new memories to be made in the New Year. Little blue dress is a soft pastel painting created on a sheet of white 9×12 Stratford paper.
