#30 I Didn’t Steal It

“I didn’t steal it. It crawled into my pocket at the store.”

They both looked down at the creature.

“What is it Stan.”

“I don’t know Louise. It looks like some kind of big tadpole.”

The creature squirmed in his hand as it shed its skin. It grew to twice its previous size. 

“Stan, kill the thing.”

“I can’t kill it. I don’t even know what it is.”

“All the reason to kill it.”

“No…” The creature shed it’s skin again. Now it was too big for his hand. He dropped it to the ground. The creature crawled away.

There are times when I need some quiet I decide to paint. There are other times when I pick up a pass paining in those times and redo it. The 5 x 7 acrylic painting was once just a plain colored pencil drawing. I decided to redo it in acrylics. I hope you like it.

Daily Drawing #205, Getting the Mountaintop Experience

This is another one of my attempts at fantasy drawing entitled, “Girls On the Mountain.” I love fantasy art because it allows you to create other worlds and creatures and beings which come from the imagination.  In life we don’t live in a fantasy world we live in a world created by God. A world filled with beautiful mountaintops and luscious valleys.

Job 12:7-10, has this to say about taking a look at the world around us, “But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.” Take the time to get out and see the sights see before and praise and thank God as you do.
