Both paintings are 11 x 14 inch acrylic paints on a flat panel canvas. The one on the right is the original painting. I kept looking at but felt it needed a change. I reimagined the picture to the finished one on the left.

Two small paintings of hands holding flowers. The one on the left is 9×12 and the ole on the right is 6×9. Both done in acrylics.

I used an app called Abstract Selfie and created two pieces of art from a photo I took along the Pacific coastline near Monterey. I don’t usually create art from photo apps but some photos I play with and see what happens.

The first cat is a 6×9 inch acrylic done on a sketch pad. The second is a 9×12 inch acrylic done on an old book page.

The second in a series of beach sunsets i am practicing in order to create a 24 x72″ sunset painting. The one pictured here is a 9×12″ acrylic painting.

As an artist did you ever look at a painting and not feel satisfied with it. It’s the way it was with the first painting of the three flowers. I looked at it and it just didn’t feel right. So I re-created it into the second painting of flowers. Both are 9 x 12 inch paintings done in acrylic paints.

Two views of the same 6×9 inch acrylic painting. The top one is scanned in which gives it a darker feel. The bottom one was taken with and iPad so it has more of a real feel of what the picture actually looks like. These are smaller renderings I am playing with for a much larger 24 x72 inch painting I’m going to do. More samples coming soon.

Offered today is an abstract view of a picture I took in the Carlsbad Cavern, I used an app called Paint Keep to create the picture. To me there are a lot of faces and partial faces in the picture.
