Back in the day one of my favorite things was to sit on my porch and watch the world around me. Those times seemed a lot less stressful and a lot more fun. A recent reacquaintance with someone whom I held dear in my younger years and who is still dear to me to this day reminded me of the importance of holding onto those people who occupy a place in our hearts. God wants us to love Him first but to also love others around us especially those we love in our hearts. I think these porch time gatherings are a way to remember the joy of friendship.
