Today’s offering is a painting of pink flowers done with soft pastels on an 8×10 old book page.

A 10×12 inch acrylic abstract painting I created on white paper using some grapes and acrylic paints. The painting was an experiment using grapes coated in acrylic paints then rolled around over the paper.

Every once in a while I like to create what I call fun art. Such is the case in the orange cat done on an 8×10 old book page. The idea for this painting comes from a picture of a series of paintings on Pinterest. I apologize but the name of the artist escapes me.

A 8×10 soft pastel painting done on an old book page from the early 1900’s. Again no old books were purposely hurt in the rendering of this art. The book was in tatters. I rescued and repurposed the page. Otherwise it may be in some landfill somewhere.

A simple little flower drawing done in Crayola Color pencils on an old 8×10 book page.

A small 6×9 inch soft pastel painting done on a grey watercolor paper. This is a picture of a girl walking in the early mist along a path of bright yellow weeds.

A semi abstract view of a pelican standing on the remnant of an old post. It looks s done in soft pastel on an 8×10 old book page.

Another soft pastel painting done on an 8×11 inch book page. Once again I love an old book page as a canvas.
