#784 and 785, Two Flowers
Two small 6 x 9 inch paintings done in acrylics.

These are two 6 x 9″ acrylic paintings of flowers rendered on white card stock.
#730 and 731, Two Flower Paintings
Two different flower paintings. The one on the left is a picture of some poppies I took which I digitally altered. The one on the right is an 11 x 14 inch acrylic painting of a vase and some flowers.
#709 and 710 of 1001, Three Flowers, Two Ways
As an artist did you ever look at a painting and not feel satisfied with it. It’s the way it was with the first painting of the three flowers. I looked at it and it just didn’t feel right. So I re-created it into the second painting of flowers. Both are 9 x 12 inch paintings done in acrylic paints.
#622 of 1001, Flowers in Black, White and Grey
I had this previously used canvas sitting around. I didn’t know what to do with it so I started used some acrylic paint and painted it black and grey. I then created the flowers using dabs of paint and a ballon. Finally I painted in the vase. I plan on experimenting with this process again.

The 6×9 drawing on the left is done in pen and color pencil. The painting on the right is my version of a Matisse painting done in soft pastel.

#596 of 1001, Purple Flower Redo
This painting started out life as a red flower. I never really like the way the flower looked so I decided to do a repaint. Now the red flower is a purple flower. I am more satisfied with this one but still feel it needs more. The painting is done in acrylics using a 9×12 flat canvas panel.
