These are actually the same cat. The left one is done in #2 pencil using my right hand. The one on the right is done in pen with my left hand.

I draw a lot of faces. Most of those I publish on my blog Pencil Art by Tim. This one a small 6×9 inch drawing of a puppy I decided to post here.

The Lighthouse is a 8 1/2 by 11 color pencil painting rendered on an old book page. I love old book page because they create their own unique background.

I sometimes just like to sit down and draw. The little church is one of those drawings. A simple pen drawing on an old book page.

Illustration and cartooning has always been a passion of mine. Here is the third in a series of illustrations I am doing with my little clan I call the Furst Gnomes.

In the course of my artist’s lifetime there are many times I create simple line drawings and then color them in for effect. These are two of those drawings. They are 8×10 drawings done in #2 pencil highlighted in pen then colored in with colored pencil.
